How to travel to Hue from Da Nang (Vietnam)
Located in the center of Vietnam, Huế was the capital city of Vietnam for approximately 150 years during feudal time (1802–1945). Being just 112km away from Da Nang, it is very convenient to travel between the two places.

By Motorcycles
If motorcycling from Da Nang to Hue and back , you can go through Hai Van (Hải Vân) mountain pass or tunnel. It is ideal to stops several times along the way to enjoy the marvelous scenery of the mountains and Hai Van pass.
Be careful as it is not easy to ride on the mountain pass and the road is also prone to robbery situation, so it is also not safe to go too early or too late.
By Bus
You can go to Hue by Opentour bus service operators in Da Nang or go directly to Da Nang bus station to buy ticket. Ticket price is around 45,000 VND .
Da Nang bus station adress: No. 201 Ton Duc Thang, Hoa Minh Ward, Liên Chiểu District. Tel: (84) 5113 786 786. It is 5km away from Da Nang airport.
As cars will travel through Hai Van tunnel so you cannot enjoy the scenery along the way.
By Trains (recommended)
From Danang to Hue there are several trains.
Train VQ : Also called "market" train . It is normally go slowly and very crowded .
SH Train : The train that runs from Saigon - Hue. Ticket price is cheap.
Other trains : TN , SE , ...
Ticket price at least is 40,000 VND, and takes around 3 hours.
When you travel by train, it is convenient to view the Mountains and Hai Van Pass, and also safer.
