The first capsule hotel in Saigon. A new generation of budget accommodation is here.

Hong Kong Kaiteki Hotel, located downtown at Bui Vien street (backpacker area) in Dist.1, is the first ‘pod’-style hotel room in Saigon.

At around VND 200,000 per night ($8), the capsule rooms (it looks like they also offer standard rooms at a higher price point) include: a mattress, ear plugs, AC, TV and WIFI. The pods are an excellent, safe, and clean

Kind of like a hostel dorm but superior in every way, pod life is characterized by its cleanliness and privacy. Each capsule is self-contained, well-lit, with digital television and AC, and comes with a locker to securely store your stuff.
